Newlands Centre provides a new home for the Roll-of-Honour to the men and women of Newlands Parish who gave their lives during the Great Wars of 1914-19 and 1939-45.
Further to a complete refurbishment the Memorial plaque, previously on display at Newlands Hall, was transported to and installed at Newlands Centre on 27 April 2012.
The installation ceremony was attended by Councillor Neil Calvert, Lord Lieutenant Captain David Youngers, Rev Tom Burt, SBC Convenor Alasdair Hutton OBE and Major John Currie MBE.
