The Localities Bid Fund is now open across Tweeddale and the Borders – in Tweeddale you can vote for up to 5 of the 17 Projects vying for your support.
Here at Newlands we have two Groups who have been successful in being shortlisted for funding – hopefully both Groups can achieve enough votes to achieve the funding they require to improve the services they offer at Newlands Activity Centre and the surround area.
Newlands Stagecraft Crew – this is our in-house team of volunteers who provide staging, sound, video and lighting to the many Events and Groups who utilise the Centre for Art, Music, Dance and Performance productions.
Newlands Youth Group and West Linton Socialize Coding Club – deliver ‘STEM’ skills for local children who learn and compete in FIRST LEGO League, Rampaging Chariots and Pi Wars.
You can Vote online or drop in at Newlands Activity Centre and complete a simple Ballot sheet – we have the Sheets plus Ballot Box at the Centre reception – all Votes must be cast by the 28th February 2018.
Remember to Vote for both of our local groups by 28th February 2018.
