Newlands Centre was built in 2012 to safeguard Newlands Primary School and create a hub for the community to use and enjoy.
The Centre continues to host and support Newlands Kids Pre-school day care, Newlands Primary School and Newlands Kids After School Club and Pentlands Activity Camp outdoor fun and activities for school holidays.
Community is at the heart of Newlands Centre and is open to everyone – by providing a space for various clubs and sports such as badminton, hockey, choir, mountain biking skills, Tai chi and Swordsmanship there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
We have a full size gym hall, commercial kitchen, meeting room, changing and shower facilities and expansive outdoor space including an orchard and community garden makes the centre an ideal venue for a range of special events such as weddings, birthday parties and corporate days.
