Traditional Swordsmanship
In lands steeped with martial legends of the Border Reivers, the Macdonald Academy of Arms is relocating and reviving its regular classes in historical fencing and European martial arts.
Professional tuition is offered in Scottish broadsword as our core discipline and a range of other traditional arms, all taught according to original martial methods and techniques. Training is open to all over 16 and no equipment or previous experience is necessary. All training is progressive with both class and individual lessons given by professional sword-maker and historical Fencing Master, Maestro Paul Macdonald.
Classes shall commence every Wednesday evening,
