Newlands -Fiona Henderson School of Dance - STARDUST
The Fiona Henderson School of Dance (FHSD as it's affectionately known as, by pupils past and present) was established in 1985 with just five pupils. Since then it has grown steadily and currently has around 500 pupils of all ages. We have a suite of dance studios in Peebles and Moffat and branches in Romanno Bridge and Hawick.
We welcome pupils from 13Â months (walking) and offers dance classes from Beginner level right the way up to Professional level. Some of our former students have progressed to study dance at full-time vocational schools, some have become full-time dance teachers, some are professional dancers and a select few have gone on to open their own dance schools.
We offer a wide programme of dance examinations, dance holiday schools, dance workshops, dance shows and dance performance opportunities throughout the year as well as offering a SQA dance programme from NPA's through to Advanced Higher Dance.
