There are so many rich and wonderful tales from Scotland that it only seemed right to have a company dedicated to reviving them.
As part of the 2014 Puppet Animation Festival the Yugen Puppet Company presents the Scottish ‘Snow White’ told with hand carved puppets, striking shadow silhouettes and traditional storytelling, with a Scottish soundscape accompaniment.
Little Princess Goldtree is a children’s show in which hand-carved puppets, and shadow play are used to tell the traditional Scottish tale of a wicked stepmother, a beautiful princess and a wise, magical trout.
