Monday 27th – Friday 31st July 2015
We are delighted to announce the return of PAC’s popular Football Camp.
PAC Football Camps have one simple aim – to allow boys and girls to have fun and enjoy football. Under the watchful eye and expertise of qualified football coaches, there is also the chance to develop skills and confidence in the ‘beautiful game’.
For 2015 PAC are absolutely thrilled to welcome back head coach and former Hearts captain and Scotland player, Gary Mackay.
Although he ‘hung up his boots’ a number of years ago, Gary is still well-connected with the world of professional football, both at his beloved Hearts FC (he still holds the record for the most competitive appearances for the club, with 640) and within Scottish football as a whole.
He also has a number of other interesting ‘strings to his bow’ – for example, he’s an ambassador for the ‘Show Racism the Red Card’ campaign and has a keen interest in promoting the value of sport in young people’s development.
And for all you football trivia fans out there, he’s also the man credited with scoring the goal (for Scotland) that sent the Republic of Ireland to the 1988 Euro Championship Finals .
Gary and his coaching team will be looking after our week long PAC Football Camp.
